Dr. Kamel Sameer Dhay

Dr. Kamel Sameer Dhay is a paediatric ENT specialist with an impressive list of credentials. He did his Bachelor of medicine and Masters degree in Otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) both from Damascus, Syria. He completed his Arab Board in Otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) from the Arab Board Council of Health Specializations, Amman in Jordan. Then he completed his Membership of the Royal college of Surgeons of England, MRCS ENT (London).

He first worked at Damascus as an ENT specialist in the Ear, Eye and Plastic Surgery hospital. After that he moved to Kuwait as senior registrar in Zain hospital and on a similar position at the ENT department in Al Sabah hospital. He is a member of the Kuwait Association of ENT & Head and Neck surgeons and of the Syrian Association of ENT & Head and Neck surgeons. His speciality lies in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose and throat diseases, and surgeries of head and neck including biopsy of neck masses and excision, microscopic laryngeal surgery, microscopic ear surgery for repairing ear drum perforations and re-constructive hearing, vertigo and imbalance disorders diagnosing and treatment manoeuvres.

Dr. Dhay is adept at performing a variety of procedures like tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, turbinoplasty and nasal turbinates, submucosal reduction, septoplasty and rhinoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery ( FESS ). During his tenure he has successfully treated patients of endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, septoplasty and rhinoplasty, including the regular ENT treatment.

He loves playing football and travelling when he can find the time from his busy schedule. He speaks Arabic and English.
