Dr. Arijit Audhya

Dr. Arijit Audhya is a Specialist in Otolaryngology at Medcare Medical Centre. He graduated in medicine (MBBS) from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Wardha, India. Later, he completed his internship at the same institute and his Master's Degree (MS) in ENT. Additionally, he completed a Certification in Allergological procedures from Bombay Hospital, followed by a Diploma in Allergy and Asthma from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, both in India. 

During the early stages of his career, Dr. Audhya worked as an ENT Consultant in Assam and West Bengal in India and later served as an Assistant Professor at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute (MGMC & RI) in Pondicherry, India. For the last decade, he has been practising in Dubai, UAE, first as a Specialist ENT Surgeon at Aster Clinics in Al Quoz and subsequently at HealthHub Clinics, managing a wide range of conditions and performing numerous surgeries. He also worked briefly at Emirates Speciality Hospital and NMC Royal Hospital before joining Medcare.

Dr. Audhya’s expertise covers the entire gamut of nasal and sinus diseases, including ear, throat, voice, and sleep difficulties. He treats patients with chronic headaches, nasal blockage, ear discharge and pain, throat pain, chronic cough, voice disorders, sleep apnoea and snoring, and has a special interest in allergic rhinitis and asthma. He treats paediatric patients for tonsillitis, adenoid hypertrophy, sleep apnoea, ear pain and foreign body removal from the ear, nose and throat. He specialises in nasal surgeries like FESS, polypectomies, septoplasty, turbinectomies, tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy.  He also performs surgeries for sleep Apnoea, conditions of the middle ear, myringotomy, grommet insertion, micro laryngeal surgery for vocal cord polyps and nodules. He is extremely methodical in his approach and treatment.

He is fluent in a variety of languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Hindi, Marathi, Oriya, and Tamil.
