Dr. Mahran Altoron

Dr. Mahran Altoron is a Specialist in Otolaryngology at Medcare Medical Centre. He is a highly experienced ENT specialist with over a decade of clinical and surgical practice in ENT. He completed his MBBS at the University of Kalamoon in Damascus, followed by advanced training and board certification from the Syrian and Arab Boards in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery. He also holds certifications in Evidence-Based Medicine and trauma life support.

Dr. Altoron began his medical career with a residency at Damascus Hospital, then held ENT positions at several leading hospitals in Syria before relocating to the UAE. In the UAE, he has served as an ENT specialist at Emirates Specialty Hospital, Saudi German Hospital, and Al Zahra Hospital, where he contributed to clinical research in Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

His expertise spans the full range of ENT conditions, including chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, allergic rhinitis, ear infections, hearing loss, vertigo, voice disorders, tonsillitis, and head & neck tumors. He treats both adults and children and performs a wide array of ENT surgeries including endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), septoplasty, tympanoplasty, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, and laryngeal microsurgery. He also manages complex cases involving sleep apnea and head & neck cancers.
