Dr. Anamika Rathore

Dr. Anamika Rathore is a Specialist Otolaryngologist at Medcare Medical Centre. She obtained her MBBS from the Coimbatore Medical College and followed it up with a Diploma in Otolaryngology (DLO) from the MGM Medical College, Indore. She is a Diplomate in ENT of the National Board from the Bombay Hospital, Mumbai, India. She has done a Fellowship in Endoscopic Sinus and Endo-skull base Surgery from Mumbai, Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Surgery and Medicine from Germany and Sleep Disordered Breathing, Trans-robotic Surgery from Forli, Italy. She has completed an Observer ship in Rhinology from the Singapore General Hospital in Singapore and one in Snoring and Sleep Apnoea Surgery from Wisconsin in the USA. She did an EOS-SDBS course as a tutor in Europe. She is a member of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI), Mumbai, the Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnoea (IASSA) and All India Rhinology Society (AIRS).

Dr. Rathore started her career as a duty doctor at Curewell Hospital and then did a Residency in ENT at the M.Y. Hospital, Indore. Later, she joined Bombay Hospital as a Senior Resident and DNB tutor and became a clinical fellow. As an ENT Consultant, she practised at several well-known hospitals in Mumbai, including the Cooperage Clinic, Conwest Jain Hospital, Bhatia Hospital, Cumballa Hill Hospital, Bombay Hospital, and Breach Candy Hospital. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE, working as an ENT Consultant with Zulekha Hospital, Ascent ENT Clinic, Dubai London Clinic, Cooper Health Clinic and the JTS Medical Centre. She has co-authored a book - Step by Step CSF Rhinorrhoea (Endoscopic Nasal Repair), and written articles in journals and newspapers.

Dr. Rathore’s expertise covers the entire gamut of diseases and surgeries related to the ear, nose, throat, mouth, and larynx. She specialises in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring, including diagnosis, assessment, UARS and minimally invasive surgery. Under pharyngoplasty, she performs barbed, suture, UPPP and DISE. She is proficient in radiofrequency coblation-assisted uvulectomy, sleep endoscopy, radiofrequency ablation of soft palate, tongue base, tonsil, endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic DCR, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, micro-laryngeal surgery, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, myringotomy, endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy and thyroidectomy surgery.

She treats nasal obstruction, anosmia, headache, mouth-breathing, throat infections, peri-tonsillar abscess drainage, vocal nodules, polyps and cysts, pre-auricular sinus, skull-base tumours, pituitary tumours, CSF rhinorrhoea repair, endoscopic optic nerve decompression, dacryocystitis, and thyroglossal cysts and swelling.

Dr. Rathore is a trained classical dancer with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance. She has also completed her training in Classical Singing. During her spare time, she believes in keeping fit by playing Tennis, Table Tennis and Basketball. She speaks English and Hindi.
