Dr. Sherin Mohamed Attalla

Dr. Sherin Mohamed Attalla is a Dermatologist at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah. She completed her MBBS at Alexandria University in Egypt and her MSc in Dermatology at Menoufia University, also in Egypt. She is a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. 

Dr. Attalla has spent nearly two decades working between Egypt, KSA and the UAE. She began her professional career in Egypt, working as a Dermatologist in governmental hospitals under the Ministry of Health. Later, she worked at Dr. Musaed Alzallal Medical Centre, a well-known multi-specialty healthcare provider in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for over a decade, before moving to the UAE. In the UAE, she worked at the Prime Medical Centre in Sharjah. 

Dr. Attalla’s area of expertise encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological diseases, including acne, rosacea, hair and nail diseases, skin tags, psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, melasma and other hyperpigmentation disorders and skin infections. She also treats paediatric dermatology. In the field of Aesthetic Medicine, she is proficient in using laser hair removal devices, fractional laser, Q-switched laser, HIFU devices for face tightening and rejuvenation, radiofrequency devices, fillers, Botox, threads, PRP, mesotherapy, cold and chemical peeling and other dermatological procedures. She also performs dermatological procedures like phototherapy, cryocautery, and electrocautery.

She speaks Arabic and English.
