Dr. Shruti Kakar

Dr Shruti Kakar is a Specialist in the Department of Dermatology at the Al Barsha - Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from the famous Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi and MD from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. She is privileged to have received her MD Dermatosurgery Fellowship from the National Skin Center in Singapore.
Dr. Kakar has spent several years in Aesthetics, Dermatology and Dermatosurgery. She commenced her career with Kakar Healthcare Group as an Aesthetic Dermatologist in New Delhi, then moved to Chandigarh to practice as a Dermatologist with the Government College and Medical Hospital, both in India.  She was with Kakar Healthcare in the capacity of a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatosurgeon before moving to the Middle East. 
She possesses a wealth of experience in all aesthetic dermatology procedures like nail surgery, dermatosurgery like mole removal and wart removal, laser hair removal, corn excision, electrocautery, chemical peel, platelet-rich plasma therapy, CO2 laser, Nd Yag laser, threads, fillers, botox injection, facial rejuvenation, anti-ageing procedures, derma roller, skin biopsy, subcision, skin resurfacing, radiofrequency and electrofulguration procedures, cryotherapy, fat grafting, dermabrasion, hydrafacial, nail surgeries, mole removals, tattoo removal, scar revision surgeries, ear piercing, hair removal, hair transplantation and mesotherapy.
She has successfully treated patients with conditions like pigmentary disorders, acne, eczema, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, rosacea, erythema multiforme drug reactions, and lupus like DLE (discoid), SCLE (subcutaneous).
In her leisure hours, Dr Kakar likes to pursue dancing and singing. She speaks many languages like English, French, Hindi, Kannada and Punjabi.
