Dr Gayatri Karad Gupta

Dr. Gayatri Karad Gupta is a Specialist Dermatologist in the Department of Dermatology at the Townsquare and Al Barsha branch of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS followed by a Diplomate of National Board certification in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology from Dr. RN Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, India. She is a Certified Dermatologist of the Royal College of Physicians UK  (RCP- Edinburgh, Glasgow & London) and the British Association of Dermatology (B.A.D). She has an American Association Certified Masters in Fillers & Aesthetic Medicine Diploma and a Fellowship in Facial aesthetics from the International Academy of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (IAFSC), an IADVL Fellowship in Dermatosurgery and an Advanced Facial Fillers, Botox and Thread lifts certified by  Stalwarts of Dermatology. She has a Grant from an esteemed “Cosmetic Surgery Forum – Las, Vegas Nevada, U.S.A. as a  Fellow from India.

Dr. Gupta is a distinguished dermatologist with a wealth of experience. She spent many years cultivating expertise in the field of aesthetic dermatology, with an established practice in India in various institutions as a Consultant Dermatologist and an Assistant Professor before relocating to the UAE. Here she worked with Emirates Hospital Day  Surgery before joining Medcare. She is a member of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Vemereologists and Leprplogists (IADVL) and a member of the Stalwarts of Dermatology Congress (SODC)                                 

She has immense expertise in treating all types of skin, nail and hair disorders, biological treatment (psoriasis, alopecia areata, and atopic dermatitis), paediatric dermatology, moles screening by Dermatoscopy for cutaneous malignancies, facial Aesthetics (Botox, Fillers,Thread lift, Mesotherapy & PRP), hair PRP, atopic dermatitis and all types of eczemas. acne and acne scars, skin infections like fungal, bacterial, viral - molluscum contagiosum, viral warts - cutaneous and Plantar warts. She has successfully treated conditions like hyperhidrosis, hair loss and hair disorders, keloids, pigmentation, autoimmune skin diseases like vasculitis, SLE & others, skin allergies, seborrheic Dermatitis, skin growths, vitiligo and female sexually transmitted diseases. She uses the latest techniques like Dermatosurgery (skin tag removal, skin biopsy, excision, cryotherapy and ear lobe repair), lasers (hair removal, tattoo removal, acne scars and rejuvenation), HIFU, COOLSCULPTING and MNRF.

During her leisure hours, she keeps both her mind and body fit by reading, listening to music, dabbling in arts and crafts, and practising Yoga.
