Dr. Venkatraman Mani

Dr. Venkatraman Mani is a Specialist Dermatologist at Medcare Medical Centre. He obtained his MBBS from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, followed by an MD from the renowned Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. He holds a Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery from Mahidol University, Thailand and a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. 

Dr. Mani began his career as a Non-PG Registrar at Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore, then served as a Senior Resident and later became an Assistant Professor in General Dermatology. Subsequently, he moved to the UAE to join Emirates Healthcare as a full-time Specialist Dermatologist. He also served in a similar capacity with the Prime Healthcare Group and the Clemenceau Medical Centre in Dubai.

Dr. Mani is a distinguished specialist dermatologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin, hair and nail disorders across all age groups, from infants and children to adults. He performs cryotherapy and skin biopsies and is skilled in aesthetic dermatology procedures, including acne scar treatment, microneedling, and other techniques to improve skin health and appearance. He treats atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, skin Infections, auto-immune skin diseases, acne and acne scars, hair and nail disorders and blistering disorders. He is regarded for his thoughtful approach in managing complex dermatological conditions and ensures personalised treatment plans. He manages sexually transmitted diseases, skin tumours and skin cancer.

Dr. Mani has authored multiple publications in General Dermatology and Paediatric Dermatology. He stays at the forefront of evolving treatment modalities and is fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil.
