Dr. Mohammad Iqbal

Dr.Mohammad Iqbal is a Specialist Endodontist with Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly and Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) from Agra University, both in India. He holds a PhD in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from Rama University, Kanpur, India. He is a member of the Indian Dental Association.

During the nascency of his career, Dr. Iqbal worked as a Senior Lecturer and then Reader at the Rama Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre in Kanpur. Subsequently, he joined as an Assistant Professor and later became Head of the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences at Al Baha University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He then relocated to the UAE as a Specialist Endodontist with Medcare.

Dr. Iqbal’s expertise covers a range of specialised treatment of the dental pulp. He performs apicoectomy to treat apical pathologies, repairs fractured teeth and composite build up, and performs complex restorations. He is proficient in treating grossly decayed teeth, separated file removal, failed root canal and manages discoloured teeth through bleaching and veneering.

He has several publications to his name and in his free time, he enjoys gardening. He speaks Arabic, English, Hindi and Urdu.
