Dr. Tarek Sayed Abou Rehab Farghali

 

Dr. Tarek Sayed Abou Rehab Farghali is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. He completed his MBBCH  from the Faculty of Medicine at Assuit University, Egypt and followed it up with a Medical Doctorate of Cardiology from  Menia University, Egypt and a Master’s degree in Cardiology from the Assuit University also in Egypt. He further qualified himself by acquiring Level 2 certification in CT Coronary Angiography from the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, UK and a Verification Certificate Level 2 in CT Coronary Angiography from the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, USA. He is a member of several prestigious associations including the American Society of Echocardiography, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, the European Society of Cardiology, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) and the Heart Failure Association of ESC (HAF).

Dr. Farghali is an extremely experienced and reputed Cardiologist who has worked in several renowned hospitals across Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

During his initial years, he spent more than a decade working in Saudi Arabia. He first served as a Cardiology Specialist at the Saudi German Hospital, Jeddah then at the National Guard Hospital, Riyadh as Chief Assistant Consultant in the Adult Cardiology Department at King Abdulaziz Cardiac Centre (KACC).This was followed by a stint at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Jeddah as the Chief Associate Consultant in the Adult Cardiology Department and at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Jeddah as a Consultant Cardiology and Head of the Non-Invasive Lab. After relocating to the UAE, he had the opportunity to work at the Neurospinal Hospital and Expert Medical Center, Dubai, UAE as Head of the Cardiology Department and the ICU, at Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital Ras-Al-Khaimah as a Consultant Cardiologist & Head of Cardiology and Internal Medicine Department, and at the Saudi German Hospital in Ajman as a  Consultant Cardiologist,  Head of the Cardiology Department and Chief Medical Officer.

Of late, Dr. Farghali has been consulting part-time in Cardiology at various hospitals including the Canadian Specialist Hospital, the Dr Suliman Al Habib Hospital, the Al Fakeeh University Hospital and the Gargash Hospital, all in Dubai.

His expertise centres around echocardiography, Holter monitor, nuclear cardiology, coronary and intensive care unit and cardiac catheterization.

He is proficient in clinical cardiology that extends to the treatment of all cardiac diseases, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure either acute or chronic, all types of arrhythmias, hypertension and dyslipidaemia, all types of valvular heart disease, pulmonary embolism and DVT. He also successfully uses non-invasive procedures like echocardiography, transoesophageal and intraoperative transoesophageal echocardiography, stress test (treadmill test), stress echocardiography and Dobutamine stress echocardiography, Holter monitor for 24 or 48 hours, blood pressure monitor for 24 hours, CT coronary angiography, Tilt table test, insertion of temporary pacemaker and Pericardiocentesis. 

 During his spare time, Dr. Farghali likes to keep fit by participating in sports and enjoys reading too. He speaks Arabic and English fluently.
