Dr. Marian Kamal Mankaryous Hendy

Dr. Marian Kamal Mankaryous Hendy is a Specialist in the Department of Paediatrics at the Town Square and Motor City branches of Medcare Medical Centre. She obtained her MBBS and Master's Degree in Paediatrics and Neonatology from Assiut University in Egypt. She completed both her internship and residency at Assiut University Hospital.
She started practising as a Paediatrician at Assiut University Hospital and the Ministry of Health in Egypt. She then joined the Sohar Hospital in Oman where she worked as a Paediatric Specialist. Subsequently, she also worked as a Paediatric Specialist at the Zulekha Hospital in Dubai.
Dr. Hendy is a successful paediatrician who has ably managed emergencies like shock, dehydration and convulsions including chronic conditions like epilepsy and asthma, and the correct diagnosis and treatment of gastro-enteritis to avoid complications. She is accomplished in arriving at accurate diagnosis and treatment of the conditions causing fever and reasons for poor appetite and loss of weight in children. She has treated regular afflictions like fever, cough, breathlessness, gastroenteritis, allergies, tonsilitis, constipation, and nasal allergies in children. Apart from these conditions, she administers children’s vaccinations and conducts regular paediatric check-ups.
Dr. Hendy’s invaluable experience in the diagnosis and treatment of Paediatrics and neonates, as well as handling paediatric procedures in outpatients and inpatients has played a vital role in her success. She has a keen understanding of when her little patients need to be hospitalized or admitted to the ICU. 
During her leisure hours, Dr. Hendy likes reading, playing music and swimming. She speaks English and Arabic.
